Abstract

Laporan ini menjelaskan hasil kajian terhadap fungsi dua kata nafi bahasa Arab serta padanannya dalam bahasa Melayu. Data dikutip daripada teks-teks terjemahan terhadap surah-surah al-Quran daripada juz ʿAmma yang menjadi bacaan harian masyarakat Muslim di Malaysia. Analisis kajian dilakukan terhadap ketepatan terjemahan dengan makna sebenar berdasarkan sumber linguistik dan pemilihan teknik terjemahan terbaik sebagai panduan kepada penterjemah Arab Melayu. Hasil kajian ini adalah penting dan menyumbang kepada perkembangan ilmu terjemahan dan pendidikan bahasa Arab di Malaysia.
