About the Journal
Aims and Scopes:
The Borneo International Journal of Medicine and Health (BIJMH) is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research findings and clinical cases, that advances knowledge and practice in the fields of medicine and health sciences. The journal aims to serve as a regional and international platform for disseminating impactful research that addresses contemporary healthcare challenges and contributes to improving health outcomes in Borneo, Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
BIJMH welcomes original research articles, reviews, short communications and case reports that demonstrate scientific rigour, innovation, and relevance to current medical and health issues. The journal welcomes systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scoping reviews, and other well-designed review articles that synthesise current evidence and provide meaningful implications for clinical practice, public health, or health policy. Manuscripts emphasising multidisciplinary and translational approaches that bridge laboratory, clinical, and community settings are particularly encouraged.
